what does a cup translate to in ounces and milliletres
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oat (old fashioned oatmeal)
1 cup skim milk
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
millilitres is for liquids.. so that doesnt make sense sorry
thank you jennifer, yeah i was confused about what they mean by cup it could be any size
http://www.convertunits.com/from/cup/to/ounces
Try here - I guess you're British? I hate having to convert American cups lol - for ages I thought it just mean a cup and I was like, well what size cup?!? a tea cup or a coffee mug lol!
This really is so delicious, it's quick, easy and so nutritious (it would also be easy to make it a raw breakfast too if you want to make it even healthier).
Add rolled oats, apple sauce, cinnamon, raisins and milk to a dish, leave it overnight or for at least 15mins. Add and change the quantities and ingredients according to your tastes and what you have in your pantry.
It tastes amazing with oat cream instead of milk, but I need to restock our kitchen with that! It also tastes really great with sliced bananas and loganberries from our allotment! Or blueberries and a squeeze of lemon juice. Or yoghurt and mixed berry compote.
Let me know what you come up with!

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Mix together dry ingredients and add, combining well. Add nuts. (We used 1 cup chopped walnuts.) Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350-degree oven for 6 to 8 minutes (the cookies will puff up, then flatten). Makes 4 dozen. (use a small cookie scoop).

You have just become the new owner of a struggling bakery. Your business plan states that you will make as much profit as possible with the ingredients already on hand and then close down the business. You will figure no expense. In addition to the fixed assets such as the equipment, you have acquired the raw materials. In the pantry you have found the following items:
•sugar (cups) 100
•butter (cups) 100
•eggs 48
•peanut butter (cups) 20
•flour (cups) 100
•baking powder (teaspoons) 179
•baking soda (teaspoons) 48
•vanilla extract (teaspoons) 275
•rolled oats (cups) 75
•honey (cups) 12
•shortening (cups) 25
In the desk you have found a standing order for:
• orders of Honey Oatmeal Cookies (HO)
• orders of Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies (PB)
• orders of Becky’s Sugary Sugar Cookies (SS)
In another drawer, you found this note:
•Honey Oatmeal Cookies (profit -- $4.75 per order)
•Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies (profit -- $2.50 per order)
•Becky’s Sugary Sugar Cookies (profit -- $5.06 per order)
You also found in the desk the following Web address: http://allrecipes.com/Search/Recipes.aspx?WithTerm=cookies
1. On this web site, look up the recipes for the above cookies, and note how much of each ingredient you will need for each recipe. Now you are ready to set up an Excel worksheet and find out how you can make the most profit.
2. Open Excel and a new blank document.
3. Prepare an Income Analysis and an Ingredients Inventory. Set up all formulas appropriately.
4. Do several what-if runs, including a run using the numbers from the standing order. Do at least one what-if run using Goal Seek.
5. Then run Solver, adding all appropriate constraints, asking Solver to maximize your profits.
6. Create an answer report, and save the Solver solution.
7. Save the workbook as Cookies (your name).xlsx.
8. Close the document and exit Excel.
so what part of that did you need help on?
i will take a random guess and help with number 8
you should see a big red X on the top right of your Excel...click it.
hey, that was fun.
